The Spear & Jackson Traditional Stainless Steel Transplanting Trowel has a narrow and deep dished blade marked with graduations in inches making it ideal for transplanting plants in pots, tubs, bedding areas and borders.
A longer than usual tang (cranked or swan necked piece of metal which joins the blade to the handle) reduces the likelihood of scraping your knuckles on the ground or hitting them on the trowel blade. The blade is made from mirror polished stainless steel which offers protection against rust and minimal soil adhesion, allowing the blade to slip easily into the soil and making for easier cleaning. Finished with a hardwood handle which has been weather proofed to further extend the life of the trowel.
